As a woman with very little newborn girl arrived from Nigeria at Gatwick Airport last summer, she was arrested. Before departing the UK for Africa, the woman told her physician that she was expecting a child. She had been based in West Yorkshire with her spouse and kids. That was false. The mother was detained on charges of human trafficking when she returned with the infant around a month later. Experts say there is a concerning trend of newborns being brought to the UK illegally, some from so-called "baby factories" in Nigeria. This is the second case the BBC has tracked through the Family Court in recent months.
