Would Google Pay ever go mainstream as a payment processor?

I think we have seen Google Pay being used to pay for apps on play store. It was expected that it would come mainstream and rival PayPal. But it seems we have already waited too long for that.

Would Google Pay ever be available for mainstream adoption and usage?

I think this lies in the hands of Google. I feel that they have not pushed it out enough. I heard it is quite very popular in the United States.

I can't wait for that to happen ever. We are being tired by the higher transactions for the PayPal.

Google Pay has already gone mainstream in the United States and people are already using it. Of it would expand to the rest of the world mainstream is yet to be seen.
