Would the delisting of USDT in EU make USDC to become more popular?

When it comes to stable coins, USDT leads the way. But news emerging indicates that USDT would be delisted accross EU countries for failure to abide by regulations. Would this move make USDC which is the close alternative to become more popular?

The rules for delisting USDT in the EU are not certain, so currently USDT is still used as a trading pair, and of course if the rules apply then USDC will increase in use and will also increase marketcap.

l do think that when that happens the USDC stable coins would increase its adoption and usage . Of course yes it would become so popular across the world.
