I read a story a while ago on a social media platform that really affected me. It was about a woman who is getting married, but her brother has decided not to attend the wedding because they have different religions. The woman had supported her brother in many ways, even sacrificing her own needs to help him with many aspects of his life, including his finances. Despite this, he sent her a message saying he wouldn’t come to her wedding due to their differing beliefs. What a shame! If I were in the brother's position, I would attend my sister’s wedding regardless of our religious differences. I would set those aside, at least for the occasion, to be there for my dear sister. Would you attend your sister's wedding if you practiced different religions?

Luckily me and my siblings are of the same religion, but in a situation like this, you can choose to go to the reception of the wedding, or the after party as most people might call it.

I would definitely attend the wedding. Going to their place of worship for an event doesn't make me a sinner to my own religion.
