Imagine you want to recruit to fill in a vacant positon in your business organization. And your major investor prevails on you to employ a particular candidate.

And there are other candidates more qualified than the one being imposed on you, what would you do as a business owner?

This is dicey. But I would stick to standards and employ the best qualified candidate. When the business fails, I would be the one to take the blame. Why would I do my investor's bidding when it doesn't favour the business?

I see that decision could kill my business and cause losses. will sit down with the investor to plan strategy to choose someone who is knowledgeable. I don't want to bother with someone who doesn't know the important work.

Since am the business owner, my duty is to choose the option that is best for the business, so am going to choose the best one there.
The person that runs the business is responsible for the outcome of the business including whatever amount they invested. So you don't let the investor to influence you to hurt the business. That investor would be the first person to hold you responsible if that staff he recommended leads to the business having losses.
