Zoo worker killed by leopard in Jerusalem

A Jerusalem zoo employee lost his life after being attacked by a leopard that had gotten out of its cage.

According to the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, Uriel Nuri passed away from injuries he received while giving guests a "behind-the-scenes tour" on Friday morning.

The zoo announced that it was investigating the big cat's escape into the courtyard where the 36-year-old was working along with Israeli police.

Visitors are not permitted to get to the site at the moment.
