The Federal Government, through the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency has advised Nigerians residing around river banks along the River Benue Basin to relocate to safer grounds.

This was made In a statement released on Thursday, October 17, by Umar Mohammed, warning that water on the River Benue has reached the flooding level due to increased rainfall.

He urged people living along the River Niger to move to a safe location as the management of Kainji and Jebba Dams are working to control the floodwaters.

As at this time, the rains are going. There is no fear of flood again even in the coastal banks of Nigeria.
The people must not be hard-headed.I am hoping that they moved out to a safe location and no more continuous rain and deadly floods this time in Nigeria.
