Report making rounds online has it that an Indian man, Rohitash Kumar, a 25-year-old narrowly escaped being cremated alive after he awoke on a funeral pyre moments before it was set alight. This was following a doctor’s failure to perform a postmortem examination.



This was ac man with speaking and hearing difficulties, and waa taken to a hospital in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, on Thursday after falling sick. he had suffered an epileptic seizure. However, a doctor declared him dead upon arrival at the hospital.


The was no postmortem to confirm the cause of death, medical staff sent Kumar’s body to the mortuary and then for cremation in line with Hindu funeral rites. A doctor had prepared the postmortem report without actually doing the postmortem, and the body was then sent for cremation.”

People are being declared dead without proper examination is getting something common in India. I think the bad doctors registration should be canceled.

I agree with you, when one person is used as a scapegoat. others will learn to take their job seriously
 
The carelessness of some doctors can be truly troubling. There have been cases like this in the past where the victim are not so lucky as this man.

In India, especially in West Bengal patients are neglected purposefully and killed to sell their dead bodies and make money. The bad doctors and the government both are involved in this crime.

Exactly, some doctors and even other health personnels are just too careless. I have seen some administer wrong drugs to patients as well.

it can really be appalling that medical personnels would be this careless. We just need to take caution too even as patients
 
Had there been proper examination the boy woukd still be alive. The doctors should lose their license for this. Imagine if the postmortem would have been done, it would have been done to him while he was still alive. Its really traumatizing to think about.
