How do you compare the prices for beef to some three years ago?

In my country l can remember that we really enjoyed cheaper prices in the buying of the beef some couple of years ago. In the year 2020 one kilogrammes of beef was retailing at $4.5 unlike now that the prices had skyrocketed to almost $6 per kilogrammes

it is really high here in my location. Before now it was affordable but it is quite high now

It is not just beef. Prices of things have more than risen 6 times what it was in the previous three years.

I really have toned down on my consumption of beef. Before, I used to see $1 worth of beef to buy but that doesn't exist any longer.

Beef has become more expensive lately because of inflation. Thankfully, I don't eat beef often since I prefer chicken, fish, and vegetables. While fish is also on the pricey side here, I still find it to be a healthier option than beef.

I don't even know what to say, one thing I have noticed about Nigeria is that we tend to adjust. Things gets bad, they adjust and make jokes about it.
