Unfortunate incident happened yesterday, A gas explosion in Niger State has destroyed properties worth millions of naira.
Confirming the incident in a statement, the Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) said the explosion occurred at the Tasiu Gas Plant on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at approximately 11:00 PM.



The explosion happened during the transloading of gas from a trailer tanker to a surface tank.

The gas-laden trailer and the plant were completely burnt.
