An employee must do the right thing by writing to notify the organization he works for of his purposed resignation. This must be advanced notice. The company would either accept or reject the resignation.

Most employment contracts gives the employee the right to resign. Just be sure you have stuck to your part of the employment contract. Leave them and don't come to work again.
