An Australian man, James Harrison, known as the Man with the Golden Arm for protecting 2.4 million babies with his rare, antibody-rich blood plasma has died at 88, the health official says. He donated blood of 1,173 times over 4 years. This was supported by the Australian Red cross organization Lifeblood. According to the medical report, James Harrison’s blood contained a rare antibody known as Anti-D used to make a medication for mothers whose blood was at risk of attacking their new born babies. It is known as rhesus D hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn. The blood donation of Mr. Harris ended during his retirement in 2018.

It was said that out f 1,173 donations of Harris, 1,163 were from his right arm and 10 from his left, said the Sydney Morning Herald. Harrison died in his sleep a legacy that God did not give him a hard time to die. James was a humanitarian at heart.

It is reality that man is mortal, however, James Harrison had done good deeds that God amused of and he will certainly reach paradise. The mom of my co-worker died at 93 in her sleep. She only said she will sleep and it was in broad daylight.

If Harris has a family most probably one of them could have a rare blood. However, there's individual differences, a family member or relative may not have a heroic feeling towards the needy.
That's right another for that same blood type might even wants to donate to people. Some people are just born selfish

Yes, agree, there are many of them scattering on earth, selfish . I do believe that there are members in their clan having a rare blood but afraid or not interested to help.

Yeah that's just the truth. They need to help of they have this blood type. They need to help humanity

In my opinion, if there are family members and relatives having this rare blood are afraid to donate. They do not like to handle responsibility. The heroic attitude of James Harris is one in a million.

Death is inevitable. The most important thing is to live a life worthy of emulation so that when we pass, we have good legacy we should leave behind.
Yes, you're so right, doing good things while still alive is essential to be praised, admired and emulated. What Harris did to his community is worth to consider him a hero.

Yes we would all die someday. but it is always painful when good and valuable people die so quick it doesn't make sense
You are right; it hurts seeing and knowing potential and useful people die, whereas the bad continue living and doing harm and illegalities.
