Two siblings of mine are due for college. And we agreed as a family that they must attend the same college. What that does for us is that it would save costs. We would save costs on accommodations as they would have to rent a single house. We would also save on their feeding and upkeep as they would have to feed and have shared utilities.

Do you think this approach is a good way of saving money on having multiple kids in college?

Yes it's a great approach, my family pretty much did the same thing as well. Its a great way to save, especially in the aspect of feeding and accommodation.

It is good that the children show understanding with the parents. Attending the same school helps to cut down the parents expenses.

I think you have nailed the challenge at the right spot.

In my country attending college or university is sponsored by the Government provided you pass high school. There is also a monthly allowance of $102.
