Ten civilians died in a Pakistani counter-militancy operation in the northwest; an investigation has been promised by security forces. Such operations rarely see the government admit to civilian casualties, and the operation's methods remain unclear.

Muhammad Ali Saif, a provincial spokesman, first suggested the site was a terrorist hideout, then confirmed that unarmed civilians were also present. The residents said that the discovered bodies, including children and women, were those of nomads from the Swat valley.

To protest, the victims' families put their dead bodies on the highway of Swat. While highlighting the priority of civilian safety, Saif said that tough terrain and the urgency of the operations could lead to in unintentional casualties. Those who were injured were given medical help, and the families of those killed ensured compensation.

It's best not to go against the government especially if they do not have a strong backup. There are many incidents like that country to country.
Indeed, these people in the government positions are ruthless and can do anything just to secure their positions, so it's best not to go against them.

You are so right. There are many of them in the local city and national government. The voters are always blinded by the politicians fake promises. They are only good during the election campaign.
