Some senior citizens are not able to use their bank account, so they have a joint account with their relatives. Does any forum member have a joint bank account with anyone else?

Based on the financial laws in my country, if one of the spouses dies, the widowed faces the very high risk to lose his/her entire patrimony. Too dangerous for my taste.I do not have a joint account with anyone else, even when i get married am not sure yet if i would be having a joint account yet.
