The report said that when people hear the phrase “Pope Francis’ Mansion,” they imagine grand halls, golden ceilings, and endless luxury. But the truth? It’s nothing like that. Unlike the Popes before him who lived in the grand Apostolic Palace, Pope Francis made a surprising choice. He refused to live in luxury. Instead, he chose a modest residence—Casa Santa Marta, a simple guesthouse inside the Vatican walls. A decision that shocked many at the time. Why would the most powerful religious leader in the world turn his back on centuries of tradition? Was it just humility—or something more?

Let us all pray that the Holy Spirit brings to us the best Pope who will make the Catholic Church much stronger in all aspects worldwide. I will be very happy if Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle of the Philippines is elected because he is very humble, honest, and disciplined. He is God fearing and he always works for the poor and equality for humankind irrespective of any community and country. Rest in Eternal Peace, my Papa Pope Francis. We love you and we will never forget you. You will always be in our hearts and minds.

May his soul rest in peace. He was one of his own kind and had all the qualities of a true world leader. He lived what he preached and that's why he chose for a humble living despite holding such a powerful religious position. Pope is revered across the globe across different faiths for his progressive humanitarian and non discriminating thoughts and messages. He will be truly missed. May more and more people follow the path that he taught.

Yes, very well said. Pope Francis served as a catalyst of change especially to the people in Gaza. He called all the cardinals every evening with the Catholic Palestinians praying for them for peace restoration for straight 18 months. Now that the Pope passed away all the Cardinals in Gaza felt so sad. They're used to hear the voice of the Pope through conferencing every evening which they will never hear again.

Religious people should live a simple life. That's what every religious head should do which most religions preach.

Of only, but there are individual differences, so we cannot expect them all to be the same. Many are lured with earthly desires and material things,
 
It's seems that pope Francis lived his life in the way of the lord. Apart from all the riches and prosperous he was, Pope Francis led a simply holy life. I hope the successor would be more humble and good fit for the sake of the God's work for sure. Rest in peace pope Francis.
 
All those things whether living in masion or not is not something that is relevant to me. The most important thing is that Catholics needs a strong and proactive leadership. The world needs a man of peace and love. We need a Pope who will outperformed this late pontiff.

If a person has earthly desire he shouldn't take up the responsibility of a religious leader.

That is right, and that is what makes Pope Francis different, he is not after material things, and even sacrifices for others.
