What would cause people to keep buying more of a product despite it's price keep going up?

There are some products that would still have a very high demand despite the fact that it's price still goes up? What could be the reason for such high demand even with glaring rising prices? Have you ever experienced such as a seller or consumer?

People will continue to buy goods even if the price keeps increasing, because the goods are their primary needs, there are also people who continue to buy goods even if the price keeps increasing because they are addicted to things like coffee, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.
