I agree with you on that. This time I am a short story writer at One Story. They pay writers in many ways apart from submitting a short story. A writer gets a pay once read stories of other members, give comments, rate the writer's work, and share to media.

I'm on publish0x, but since 2022 the earnings have become peanuts. About the other mentioned: Medium doesn't work in my country. In any way, it results to be a company, such as VocalMedia and HubPages. I can't legally work for legal entities due to the financial laws of my country (I can legally work only for physical persons that reside abroad, not for entities located abroad).

There are indeed many limitations to you making that transition? But is Discussion Bucks not a legal entity? Doesn't the law affect you?

I had talked about this question with Devin a while ago. He explained it's not a standard legal person, as it's small and faces limitations not owning a VAT (in a few words, this kind of entity doesn't exist in my country, so my accountant told me I don't need to worry to receive payments from DB, also considering the amounts are too small to draw the R.S.I.'s attention).
