The countdown has begun and millions across the country here are glued to the TV watching Indian Subhanshu Shukla making history. He is the second Indian to go to space. The first Indian to go to space was Rakesh Sharma, and it was in 1984. Subhanshu was born in 1985 and the stories of Rakesh Sharma inspired him from the very young age. Today his big dream will be realised and he will make history. His story of an inteocet and shy child coming from a humble background and small city and going to space, will keep aspiring many in the coming generations. Shukla will play the key role of pilot in this ambitious Axiom 4 space mission.
We had few people of Indian ethnicity going to space earlier but they didn't have Indian passport. The whole country here is cheering for Subhanshu Shukla.
