Whether we realize it or not, we often observe the people around us, or perhaps even ourselves, especially when it comes to giving rich children more gifts/money than poor children. Many of us assume that rich children deserve more money or more expensive gifts than poor children. Rich children may be accustomed to expensive toys, while poor children often play with cheaper ones.

Perhaps we have a misperception that giving more money or more expensive gifts indicates greater attention and affection. What do you think?

I give only things i can afford at a time. I mostly give children books and toys! I don't give children money. I think is wrong to give children money. Simple gifts like books, toys, flowers cloths etc is far more better!

You're right, but I mean, whether in the form of money or gifts like toys, books, etc., but the price is more expensive when we give gifts to rich children, whereas if we give gifts to poor children, it will be cheaper.

The poor pitiful children do not know the prices of the expensive toys, they also don't know if the toys they have is cheap or not. They enjoy playing toys regardless of its brand. Whereas, rich kids understand expensive toys, they won't accept cheap toys.

You do have a point. The less privileged children appreciate even the most basic toys, whereas the rich children understand what is expensive and, and because of this, prefer the more expensive options.

People see rich kids already having nice things, so they feel like they need to give them something “on that level.” Meanwhile, with poor kids, some think “anything helps” so they give less. It doesn’t always come from bad intentions, just kind of thoughtless patterns. Honestly, kids remember love and attention way more than the price tag on a gift

Yeah, rich kids understand expensive toys based on what they used to, whereas, poor kids accept whatever they receive as long as they are given to them free, they don't mind the price and brand quality.
