Have you ever seen a shop that sells something for 10 cents less than what other shops are selling. Sometimes, those shops that sell for that less are like five minutes distance from the regular shop we buy from. We fail to take advantage of those cost savings because we probably are too lazy to trek five more minutes to that shop.

The impacts of such small cost savings would really be felt if we are buying up to 10 pieces of that particular product. Trekking for five minutes to save a dollar or refusing to trek to not save a dollar, which one would you choose?

You're right and this is exactly my case. Indeed I can have a coffee every day, at a company paying €1, or at a private bar where it costs me €1.20. In the first case, I save 20 cents, which seems like a small amount in a day, but in a month? Well, I get a calculated saving of €0.20 X 30 = €6 achieving the same result. Keep in mind that these €6 are only the saving on a simple coffee, but at the same time, by shopping consciously, do you have any idea how much we could save?

I don't agree with the modern system called "Consumerism." After all, I only buy what I need, so I can enter into a ipermarket and buy just three things, while most people I see shopping fill their carts, spending huge sums. It's been shown that unfortunately, with this system of buying, 30% of food ends up wasted! This is truly a severe problem!!
