The employees of many states in India are not being paid on time or not given their hikes.

When it comes to expenditures of ministers and MLA of different states, they spend huge amount on themselves but when it comes paying the government employees they invariably don't pay them on time or hold back their increments or allowance. This is bad state in almost all the states in India. What are talking of Indian economy with the common man finding it difficult to meet two ends.

It also happens in my country. Sometimes, workers are owned 6 months salaries or more. It is disheartening and very cruel. That's one of the reason it is advisable that everybody should have side hustle and mutiple source of income.

I wonder why most governments would do just the same to the common man. Government officials are very mindful to their own affairs not caring for the people that took them to the offices.

That is so sad, a government must be a role model for its citizens. India has many problems related to corruption and fraud.

It's only the top officials that get paid timely and the rest are kept on the lurch.
