According to the report, a staff member at Meadowridge Academy in Massachusetts died after allegedly being kicked in the chest by a 14-year-old student. Amy Morrell was attempting to restrain her from leaving the school's dormitory without permission. The Bristol County District Attorney's office reported that the 53-year-old Morrell collapsed, received CPR, and was rushed to the hospital, where she died on Thursday.

The report also stated that Mel Lynch, the criminal, is a violent student and they cannot believe that she has committed a criminal action against the staff. Morrell's death is considered a great loss in the academy and community.

In addition to the report, a spokesperson for the school expressed deep sadness over Morrell's passing and stated that support services are available to assist students and staff as they grieve. The 14-year-old student involved in the incident has been charged with assault and battery causing serious injury but is not being identified due to her age.

It is well, the student probably used too much force or it's possible he already had some issues unknown so the kick was a catalyst. If the student would have simply just obey, none of this would be happening.

What I do not like is that the criminal is not charged. She should be charged, and once she reaches 18m she should stay behind bars. She is 14 years old but demonic. How much more if she grows mature?

This is the very reason that I wouldn't want to get into any violent encounters with anyone at all. You most likely don't know a person that has an underlying health condition.
The school just told the killer teen not to leave the school dormitory without a permission. She already knew that teen has a history of brutality in attitude. She should have not refrained that teen but rather let her log to mean she's out voluntarily. That killer teen might be huge.
