Some people have a habit of oversharing on social media. I once saw someone post her address and contact number, which I find disturbing. Maybe she did it for attention. What do you think causes some people to overshare on social media?

People who overshare on social media often do so because they are looking for connection or validation from others. Some believe that sharing everything will make them seem more authentic or closer to their online friends. There are also those who do not know the boundaries of privacy and see social media as a place to say anything without regard for the consequences. Other reasons include feelings of loneliness or seeking attention from people. Sharing personal information like your address or phone number can be dangerous and it is important to learn to set digital boundaries to protect yourself.

Majority of them simply do this out of immaturity, while most of them do this just to get engagement, hence they are willing to do anything.
That's the truth. Many people make those moves because they're not mature and others are just looking for engagement to get attention on social media. They're ready to do anything to get views and likes. This is the current culture where clout has become like currency. People find themselves playing a game of destroying their image without caring about the future. They just want to get a short-term spotlight.
