We are living in the era that most people own and use sophisticated smartphones. These smartphone usage has become a very vital part of peoples lives.

Do you think phone usage is affecting real life relationships between humans positively or negatively? Why do you take that stand?

I believe that smartphone use has both positive and negative aspects in human relationships, and it largely depends on how each person uses them. On the one hand, smartphones facilitate communication, allowing us to stay in touch with loved ones regardless of distance, and they also offer tools for sharing important moments in real time. However, in many cases, excessive or distracted use can affect real-world relationships, as people may be physically present but mentally absent, leading to disconnection and a lack of attention. Personally, I think the impact is negative if used uncontrollably or as a way to avoid face-to-face interactions. The key is finding a balance: using technology to strengthen bonds, but without letting it replace genuine human interaction.

Phones have become like a second hand. Life without a smartphone is very difficult, but the truth is that they affect relationships in two ways. There is a positive side because they help you communicate quickly and collaborate even when you are far away. But the negative side is that people are sitting together but all your eyes are on the screen and the face-to-face connection is lost. This creates emotional distance even when you are close. Phones are a great tool, but if you overdo it, it ruins the vibe of relationships.

The positive side of phone usage on real life relationships is that people can easily connect with each other despite the distance. The negative side is that phones ass becoming the primary companions of people and replacing humans.

Real. People find themselves spending more time scrolling than talking to family or friends. This creates isolation and makes us feel detached because comfort is found in screens rather than human touch. We must be careful not to let our phones completely replace social connection. One way is to set aside time without phones and prioritize face-to-face conversations. When balance is achieved, phones will remain tools and not substitutes for real relationships.
