According to the latest report, several parts of Metro Manila were flooded due to heavy rains from the southwest monsoon. Flooding was reported in Valenzuela, Manila, causing traffic snarls and inconvenience to pedestrians from Monday to Tuesday. Despite prior preparations by the local government, the flooding worsened due to the ongoing rains.Video footage showed the floodwaters reaching chest-deep, with several vehicles also stranded and immobilized. The Manila City government said it continues to monitor the affected areas and urges the public to cooperate with safety measures and proper waste disposal to help prevent future flooding.

I am thankful, there is no rain in our region in Mindanao. I hope the flood subsides in Metro Manila and the rain stops pouring. It is a devastating flood. Floods are rampaging in different countries. It happens to any country, not only the Philippines, and we are accustomed to it. Nobody likes it so don't blame anyone but the weather

The government was doing it but the rain caused by storm was extreme. There were 4 successive storms that attacked Manila. Floods overwhelmed.

It is infuriating to think that these floods came about as a result of the corrupt dealings of some politicians. Citizens would be better with fewer of these leeches!

Rain is something natural but the government has to have proper outlet for rain water to drain out which is not done in India and people suffer a lot.

In December, there will be 5 storms to visit my country. I am now sad and worried. hoping there is no storm on Christmas Day.

There is no snow in the Philippines. We only have two seasons, the hot and rainy he he. This week, we suffer the extreme heat at 38 degrees Celsius. It is sweltering even in the early morning.
