Transportation business is one of the most popular businesses around. It has its own challenges though. Many commercial drivers always complain of cost of fuel/gas or cost of repairs as a big challenge to them.

Which is a bigger challenge to commercial road transportation business between the two factors?

I think fuel/gas is the major thing they spend their money on. While repairs often take place, they don't repair every day, unlike the number of times they have to buy gas.

This is a very obvious observation as cars or businesses reliant on transportation fuel consume a significant portion of their daily budgets. Vehicle repairs do occur, but not nearly as frequently as refueling for every trip. Fuel consumption is unavoidable; gasoline is a fixed expense, while repairs are occasional. Therefore, if you want to control spending, you should focus on fuel management and efficiency, as fuel consumption is a major source of wasted funds and doesn't happen every day, so fuel costs should be the primary expense, not repair costs.
