When the other person is abusive. I can't stand abuse in any form life is too short for such. I can even be in an abusive relationship
True, being abused is the worst, no one in the relationship should abuse their partner.

My ex-partner hurt me physically so I left immediately. There is no point staying in that kind of relationship.
Sorry to hear that, hurting someone that loves you is not acceptable, there is nothing that you can do beside leaving them.
It is very easy to give up in a relationship because if only one person fights for it, nothing will come of it and there is no point in even trying to fight

Am not in any relationship at the moment, but I think it's safe to say I would give up when I see I am the only one trying to keep the relationship.
I pulled on my marriage for 34years and therefore I think when two person stop feeling for each other their relationship will automatically break.
