I believe that every student has experienced this as certain classes are so dull that it is hard to resist nodding off. It happened to me once, however I'm not sure if I dozed off or fell asleep entirely. Luckily, nobody saw

Yes I have slept many times and teachers had complained about to my parents. And my parents restricted me to play outside by 7 pm and decided 8 pm a sleeping time.
It didn't matter to me when I went to bed because I had to get up very early for school and no matter how long I slept I could still fall asleep at my desk
It is still difficult for me to wake up if I don't take a sleep of at least of 8 hours at night. Today also I have decided my and my kids time to sleep before 10 pm. I believe you stay healthy if you take a proper sleep.
Not just during school hours, I sometimes slept off in the bus too
