Poor Sammy. He should have told the teachers or the parents about his bullying. I think he would have been saved. We must control it at any cost, as every year kids go into depression due to it and, in extreme cases, commit suicide like Sammy did.

Bullying is terribly bad but it is wrong for a child of ten to take his life. Parents should teach their children how to cope with diverse behaviors. If the parents have been able to show deep love and passionate affection, the child will not consider ending his life. If the child find meaning in other aspect of life than bullying, he will not go to extreme length.
It seems that the parents did not notice the change in the behaviour of the kids. He might not have decided to commit suicide in a single day. He might have been dealing with the bullying from long time then took this extreme step.
