For me l did some alterations like the reduction on the purchasing of luxuries to balance the budget for the purpose of meeting up with the expenses.

Alteration of budget is something that happens almost on a daily basis. You have to adapt the budget to the reality or you become stranded with that budget.
This inflation is biting harder than expected. On daily basis, we have to adjust by removing some necessities that are not urgently needed.
Yes I do that's why it is always good to give a realistic estimate. if my budget isn't working with the reality on ground. I would readjust it
I have altered my budget severally to rhyme with the prevalent costs. If you don't, you would be running a budget that can't be achieved.
When we prepare a monthly budget, of course we separate fixed expenses from variable expenses, so that when we evaluate and revise it, it doesn't need to be done every day, but only when there are changes in the economy or inflation.

This has happened to me several times. The price of things keeps changing so I am ways making changes to my budget from time to time.
Yes, I have done that by reducing or excluding things which I don't need instantly and can wait for few more time.
