How much traffic does a website need to start earning income? Whether it is through ads, affiliate programs, product sales or something else. Sharing experiences could really help others understand what to expect in the early stages of website monetization.

Every site is different, it all depends on your traffic and monetization tactics. You could make money in a week if you get the right amount of traffic to your site, but that'll also depend on the ad company.

Affiliate products generally are easier to make money from than ads.

They pay fixed amount per lead.

While higher the traffic number better is the earning, traffic location, ad types, and ad engagements determine earning. I started earning from Adsense when I had k monthly visits.

I think that 500 unique visitors to a site is enough for you to start earning from any monetization methods.

It could be case if original traffic.

Who pays a fixed amount per lead? Affiliate companies pay out a based commission, you’ll get a higher commission based upon the product that you’re pushing and promoting.

Some offer a 5% commission and others offer 20-50% it all depends on the company.

It depends if for example a company has only one product this will be 5 % of this amount of money like selling one software.

The volume of traffic does not guarantee conversion rate. The most important is to determine the type of traffic you need. If you are selling products, you need traffic that do convert. If you monetize your blog with adsense or similar network, you need high level of traffic.

I believe both factors play a role in monetization strategies, and it's important to consider the context of each website's goals.
It all boils down to your niche and your audience. Some niches may pay more than others. Traffic is also important. You won't make a dime with low traffic, nor will it convert to dollars.

To Increase Traffic:Optimize your website and content to rank higher in search engine results. Content Marketing: Create valuable, relevant content that attracts your target audience.
Without good content and proper optimization, it's hard to get noticed. These two strategies are a must for long-term website growth.

My point exactly you just have to churned out good contents that will either keep the users or lure new users

Some work does not need traffic, for instance, if you work for clients, there is no need to build traffic. You need traffic only when you are running your own websites or social pages

I’d say it depends on your niche and monetization method. For ads, a couple hundred daily visitors might get you something small. But if you’re selling something or doing affiliate marketing, even less traffic can earn decent cash , if those visitors are interested buyers.
