I saw this information today on a crypto blog. It states that the crypto market is basically 10% of buying a token and selling a token is just 10% of all there is in crypto. The waiting game is about 80% of what crypto is about. How true is this?

This 10/10/80 strategy has been applied to my crypto portfolio, although I use a slightly different approach or percentage, but basically the same. I apply waiting or hodl 70%. like when the price of Bitcoin fell to the level of $ 76k, I bought 10% and a few days ago when BTC peaked at $ 112k, I sold 10%.

I’ve heard that statement before, and it actually makes sense. Buying and selling tokens is only a small part of the crypto journey. The big part is waiting—waiting for the market to trend, waiting for projects to grow, or for the technology to gain acceptance.

This requires patience and long-term understanding. Many think of crypto as a fast-paced business, but true success comes to those who learn, monitor, and be patient. Waiting wisely is part of the strategy.

The thing that makes some people not to be patient with their crypto is lots of media noise. People that hold the top 10 crypto should be firm with patience.
Agree with you. The media hype can be very confusing, especially for those just starting out in crypto. News of price drops or market turmoil can cause people to panic and sell quickly without planning.

But for those holding the top ten cryptocurrencies, patience is a key weapon. History shows that crypto markets go up and down, but in the long run, those who are patient will reap the rewards. It’s important to learn, follow the trend, and not be driven by fear.

Patience is the hardest part, especially when social media, news, and influencers try to rush your decisions with hype and fear.
That's the reality for a lot of people. You take emotional decision which is bad got trading

It’s true that media hype can be confusing for people on their crypto journey. News of price drops or market speculation often creates fear and makes people impatient. But for someone holding the top 10 cryptos, it’s important to learn to calm down and look at the bigger picture.

Crypto is like a seed that takes time to grow. The market goes up and down, but history shows that patience pays off. Instead of being afraid of every rumor, it’s better to learn the basics of the technology and monitor the progress of the projects you hold.
