According to the report, Fifteen-year-old Kendra Farler was shot and killed inside an apartment in Dayton, Ohio, on April 14, 2024, in what would become a heartbreaking family tragedy.

Her father, Kenneth Paul Farler III, initially told police that his non-verbal, autistic 15-year-old stepson had accidentally fired the shotgun that killed her, a claim investigators later proved false.
