Dateline Philippines: Heavy downpours in Metro Manila and over the western parts of Luzon will persist through Friday. At 11 a.m. Tuesday (July 22), heavy rainfall warnings are still up in many areas of Luzon. PAGASA, meanwhile, is monitoring three low-pressure areas in and around the Philippine area of responsibility.

It is crucial if there are successive rains, flooding will be inevitable. Hoping it won't happen.
