According to the report, Ukrainian forces continue to hold the defense of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. Currently, there is no talk of Russian troops controlling the city or of the Ukrainian Defense Forces being operationally encircled, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that stabilizing the situation in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad operational area depends on the level of coordination and coherence among military command bodies, units, and subunits involved in combat operations.

The report also stated that the Commander-in-Chief emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are doing everything possible to prevent enemy movement and consolidation. It said that the search for and elimination of the enemy also continues in the adjacent Ocheretyne direction. Over the past seven days, as a result of search-and-strike operations, 7.4 sq. km of the Pokrovsk district in the Donetsk region have been cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

From my perspective, the situation in Pokrovsk remains quite delicate, but it appears that Ukrainian forces are holding firm and are not being surrounded, which is a good sign. Coordination and coherence in military operations are key at this time, and I hope that will help maintain resistance in that area. Information about operations in Ocheretyne also shows that they are actively engaging the enemy, which is positive in terms of territorial control and security. However, the fighting in that area remains very dynamic and dangerous, and vigilance cannot be relaxed. Defending cities like Pokrovsk is important not only strategically but also from a morale standpoint for the population. I am confident that, with the cohesion and effort of the forces, they will be able to hold that line and prevent the enemy from advancing or gaining control.

It is so painful to watch the dead soldiers lying on the ground. Life is precious, but because of war, the lives of the soldiers from both Ukraine and Russia are wasted. Why don't they like peace?
