800 former Boko Haram fighters surrendered to the military in Nigeria

Report online has it that 800 former Boko Haram fighters have surrendered to the military and are currently undergoing deradicalisation for onward re-integration into the society.


Chief of Defence Training and Operations, Emeka Onumajuru, who disclosed on Channels TV Morning Brief on Monday, February 10, 2025, said one year is sufficient enough to re-orient and reintegrate the ex-terrorists into the larger society.
