A 25-year-old man from Kwekwe, Zimbabwe has died in a suspected suicide after reportedly blowing himself up with explosives, leaving behind only his teeth as identifiable remains. The tragic incident occurred on Independence Day and has since sparked a police investigation.

The deceased, identified as Talent Runi, was found dead in his rented room in the Mbizo suburb of Kwekwe. According to Midlands Deputy Police Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Fungai Ngawagare, the Zimbabwe Republic Police are actively investigating the matter. “The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms investigating a suspected suicide case in which a 25-year-old Mbizo man was found dead in his room with his teeth blown out and blood stains all over,” cause of suicide yet to be known
