A 27-year-old South African woman, Micaela Goeieman was allegedly shot d3ad by her boyfriend, Thabiso Lethabo, in front of their 6-month-old baby.

Micaela was laid to rest on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Advocacy group, Women For Change, in a statement on Monday, June 16, disclosed that the incident occurred in the couple's home in Emndeni Extension 2, Soweto, on 4 June.

“It is alleged that the couple got into a heated argument before her boyfriend shot her in the head, k!lling her.

Lethabo, 34, allegedly called the police to the crime scene, where he later confessed to the murder. He was then arrested,”
