A cheating husband that can provide is better than a faithful broke man

A Nigerian woman, Nkechi Biaze, has said she would go for a cheating husband over a faithful one that can't provide for his family and then cheats back on him.

She wrote this on Monday on x platform in response to a post about a cheating man who provides for his family being better that a faithful one that can't put food on the table.

She wrote “I reject both. But, if I have to choose one, I'd take the cheating husband, stop sleeping with him, and cheat back on him,”

I honestly don't know, but what I do know is that everyone deserves a faithful partner who would love and respect them, and at the same time provide for them.

I agree with you, we can live with an unfaithful man or a broke one. but a broke one is worse you would be hungry and miserable

Both scenarios are not good for me. I woudnt settle for either option. I would rather stay single then put so much strain on myself.

Yes. sometimes walking away from stress is just the way to go thsn living a life you are uncomfortable with

I think Nigerian women are starting to realize that monogamy is not realistic in the Nigerian settings.

It is wrong to think that marriage is avenue of selfishness and exploitation. You don't have to wait for your husband to give you all the time. You also can bring the bacon home.

Am not a woman therefore i can't be able to say which is preferable. But it seems that most women depend solely on their husband for sustenance! It is absolutely wrong! Women should also bring the becon home!

Yes but circumstances do force some women to stay off work for some time. But then it is not still good to stay with a broke man.
