A customer told the business owner that she is crushing on him. How can customer relationship be maintained from here?

A friend of mine that sews clothes for both males and females just had one of his female customers confess crushing on him. The guy doesn't see the customer that way. The feeling is not mutual. How does he tell the customer that he is not interested such that he won't lose a loyal customer?
 
Well, sometimes things like this keep springing up. Your friend will politely inform her that he is married or in a serious relationship. There is no other way out.
Don't you think refusing to fraternize romantically with the lady would affect the customer relationship. You know how ladies behave. She might just stop patronizing him.
 
The best way is to be sincere about it as politely as possible, keeping quiet about it would only cause more harm.

Yes exactly, and the sooner the better, the more he drags or delay this issue might lead to him loosing that customer.
