A magnitude 5.2 earthquake impacts Sarangani, Davao Occidental

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a magnitude 5.2 earthquake rocked Sarangani, Davao Occidental, at around 5:26 a.m. on Wednesday.

The epicenter occurred roughly 296 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The earthquake was described as tectonic in nature. According to the institute, while no major damage is expected, aftershocks may take place.

There is always earthquake in that place. Davao is under the ring of fire. We're thankful we didn't hear the tremor. We're afraid here every December, there is always quake. I hope the quake doesn't attack Region 10. I am scared of quake.
