A Minecraft movie

Are you a fan of the Minecraft game? The movie is already out, there where lots of mixed reactions when people first heard about a Minecraft movie, many felt it would flop. At it is now the movie is doing pretty well in the box office. Have you watched it or do you plan on watching it?

I only know Minecraft by name because it is a video game that I am not passionate about as a genre. However, I am not surprised that it is reproduced in a movie as it has already been done in the past for: Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Escape room and many others.

I don't watch movies because is time wasting. A lot of things neeed to be done with our limited time. A lot of guys are making massive money through cryptocurrency! Watch movies will not solve some of my problems. In fact, it will help to multiply it.

I will try to watch it tomorrow to find its appeal. I did Minecraft before but not a movie. I might be thrilled in this movie lol.

I watched it for 30 minutes but could not finish it. I did not enjoy it very much, so I switched to another movie. Maybe others enjoyed it, though.

Lol maybe it would have gotten better after awhile. I have not watched it yet though but anytime from now i might check it out.

I did some research through Google and found out that Minecraft movie is one of the Adventure/Comedy genre, which is not my favorite. I might even watch it, but certainly not anytime soon.​

That's understandable since we all have our favorite genres when it comes to the movies we watch, but who knows, you might end up liking a new genre when you watch a pretty good film.

Well, in fact if you read one of my previous post on this thread, I have seen almost all the movies inspired by videogames.

That's nice, do you have a particular favorite, or do you think the movies did not do proper justice to the video games counterpart? I have only watched a few movies inspired by video games.

For now I remember two that in my opinion reproduced the video games in question very faithfully and they are: Tomb Raider and Mortal Kombat.

I think there are various versions of tomb raider and mortal Kombat if i am not mistaken , and i have watched some of them, i actually enjoyed them though.
