For a new restaurant that just opened, it could be quite challenging to get your first customer. What are the possible measures to take to get your first customer as a new restaurant? What initiatives can lure someone to just come in to patronize you?

If you just start a new restaurant, you should do some marketing and promotion. Distribute flyers to nearby residents to create awareness. Offer special promotion to attract customers.
That's right it would be good to promote the business. Just be sure you are offering something very tasty though

For a restaurant, the first customers should be close members of the owner's circle majorly. And a little bit from the locality. That's where the focus should be.
This is a very good argument for someone starting a restaurant. Your first customers should be close people like family, friends, and neighbors. They are the ones who can truly support you and even give you real feedback about your services. It's a great way to build a solid foundation.

You could run a soft opening with exclusive invites and post photos online. Use local influencers or micro-bloggers to build buzz. Even a simple giveaway like ‘free dessert for first 20 customers’ can create traffic
