Yusuf Umar, has been arrested by the operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command. He was arrested while attempting to sell his 5-year-old daughter for N1.5m.

CP Auwal Musa Muhammad, the State Commissioner of Police, disclosed this on Thursday, May 30, 2024, that the suspect took the child away from her mother,who is his ex wife, under the pretence that he would take her to his sister in Bauchi town.

I totally agree. Your mind, moral and ethics all fail when you are on a hungry stomach for days. Emotions are nurtured when basic needs are met. In the scarcity and struggle to survive, people tend to become animals and do such unimaginable things. There are few who do it for easy money as they want money without any effort.
