Nowadays, people prefer to use liquid soap for bathing or washing clothes, and dishes and glasses. Liquid soap is considered more practical and available in small and large bottles, while bar soap is starting to be abandoned.

There are fewer bar soaps here. The display are mostly powdered and liquid soap for washing clothes and even for dish washing. I also noticed the bar soap this time was not like of the past which didn't dissolve or melt right away.
I think it is more because people find washing with detergents more like efficient. But some good bar soaps brands still have good sales.
Liquid soaps are taking over. Honestly they are more foamy and its just a fun bath time when you use liquid soap. Even though liquid soap is more pricy it actually lasts longer than bar soaps.
people fund liquid body washes, as more hygienic and convenient, it has gained popularity.

People tend to buy liquid soap these days as it tends to last longer and seems to foam better.
More people are able to make their own bar soaps nowadays. Maybe that is the reason sales in bar soaps have reduced.
I have realised that bar soaps are very good to using with fresh waters compared to the common salty waters that are readily available in my region for instance.
