A Russian strike in Kiev kills four people

On Saturday, a Russian missile and drone strike on Kyiv resulted in the deaths of four individuals due to the bombardment. In response, Ukrainian forces launched strikes on industrial sites in Russia, causing significant damage. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia had launched 39 Shahed drones that morning. Ukrainian air defense intercepted 24 drones and two missiles, while 14 drone simulators were also lost in the location. The deaths occurred when a downed missile struck a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, as said by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. Smoke filled the entrance of the building, and windows were shattered. Missiles and drones were also intercepted in other regions of Ukraine, including Sumy and Kyiv.
