A student without a home graduates first in his class

Elijah Hogan, an incredible 19-year-old who has faced homelessness, graduated at the top of his class from Walter L. Cohen High School in New Orleans with an impressive 3.89 GPA. His outstanding academic achievements will enable him to pursue his passion for graphic design at Xavier University, thanks to a well-deserved scholarship.

He spent his high school years at Covenant House, a homeless shelter, and despite various hardships, he remained focused on his studies. Elijah thanked Covenant House for their ongoing support and offered this strong advice: "You are the bulldozer that can break your limitations."
