A unique scent on the money, notes

Have you noticed a very unique scent on the paper notes form of money? Actually isn't so unique that one can sense it from far on a person that is carrying it for sure. That is on of the reason why most people are being robbed off cash on the streets.

Yes I noticed the scent mostly on mint notes. Our mint money is always looking crispy and smelling fresh.

Yes money does have a unique smell, i guess this is due to the chemicals used in making these bank notes

Currency notes do have a scent. I guess it is from the chemicals of printing. But since currency notes are in wide circulation, they are quite dirty and full of germs. I usually have to use cleansing wipes after using currency note.
