In some countries, the tax department is providing a statement of tax related information for each taxpayer which is available with them. Do the government agencies provide a statement to each taxpayer in your country? If yes, do you check the accuracy of the information that is provided?

In some countries, an annual summary is provided with the recorded tax information. In my case, the government does provide taxpayers with a statement with their data, and it's always advisable to review it carefully to ensure everything is correct and avoid future problems.

In my country, taxpayers can calculate their own taxes and report them to the tax office. If taxpayers are unable to prepare income statements, they can seek the assistance of an accountant. However, if you are an employee, income tax will be deducted directly by the business owner/company.

In the last few years, the government is allowing citizens to find out the data the government has on the citizens income from various sources, to verify it for tax payment.
Is the data valid and reliable? If you work as a freelancer, it will be difficult to calculate your monthly income; sometimes it's lower or higher.
